Easy Distribution, Updating And Optimizing Of Navigational Data

NAVTOR Pay As You Sail (PAYS) service uses the UKHO AVCS database, and provides a complete electronic service for temporary and preliminary NTMs (AIO). Unlike traditional ENC subscription models, which are based on set areas and license periods, NAVTOR's PAYS service only charges vessels for the cells the yacht passes through during a voyage, whilst also allowing navigators to access any ENC chart for planning purposes prior to sailing.

Key Features

  • Vessels are only charged for the actual ENCs used (cell boundaries crossed by the ships keel)

  • Tracking via Inmarsat C (costs covered by annual/monthly fee)

  • Full access to ENCs, within operational area, available at all times (except for the very few non-PAYS countries)

    • For non-PAYS countries licensing by route is used

    • Routes can be made directly in NavTracker or imported from the ECDIS into NavTracker for ENC Licensing of non PAYS cells.

NavSync & NavStick - NAVTOR ENC Service

Our acclaimed ENC service* makes it easy to download and update charts & publications. With our software solution navigators can seamlessly download the latest updates to a internet-enabled computer. With a simple push of a button the necessary files can then be transferred to a USB-based solution, which can then be connected to the ECDIS in order to finalise the update.

After having downloaded the latest version of the ENC/ADP/e-NP updates, you can also produce a report for Port State or vetting control verifying that the vessel is equipped with the latest charts and required publications.
